Facebook MAUs Are Growing Like Clockwork

Share:

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) blew its Q2 earnings results out of the water Wednesday afternoon, thanks in part to its monthly active user (MAU) growth.

As of June 30, Facebook's MAUs were 1.71 billion. That's a 15 percent increase year-over-year. Of that total, 1.57 billion (or about 92 percent) came from mobile. Mobile MAUs saw a 20 percent increase year-over-year.

Here's a chart (courtesy of TechCrunch) of Facebook's MAUs since Q4 2013. You can see the trend.

Note: The chart doesn't include Q1 MAUs for 2016. Total MAU's were 1.65 billion as of March 31, 2016 and mobile MAUs were 1.51 billion, a 21 percent year-over-year increase.
