Rashard Mendenhall Clarifies bin Laden Tweets

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall has put out a blog post to discuss his tweets from earlier in the week, which many took to mean that Mendenhall was in support of Osama bin Laden.

In the tweet, Mendenhall wrote: "What kind of person celebrates death? It's amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We've only heard one side..."

Bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces on Sunday, almost 10 years after the attacks on September 11, 2001, which killed thousands of Americans.
