Apple (AAPL) Expected To Sell 1-5 Million iPads In The Introductory Year
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPad has received mixed reviews from the market. Still, the main test for the tablet will be its sales performance. It is yet to be seen if the tablet is going to replicate the sales frenzy generated by iPhone and iPod before it.
Wall Street has given a big leeway to Apple and has predicted sales between 1 to 5 million units in the first year. Mike Abramsky of RBC Capital Markets is more optimistic and pegged the sales target for "revolutionary e-reading, browsing, media, gaming experience" aka iPad at 5 million units during the first year.
