Share:

Earlier in the day, AT&T announced the HTC Jetstream, a tablet that will run on the carrier's 4G LTE/HSPA+ network. The Jetstream will be the first HTC-built tablet that will run on Android OS 3.1 (a.k.a. "Honeycomb"). The tablet will sport a 10.1-inch WXGA HD display, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Jetstream has support for Adobe Flash Player and the ability to record and play 1080p video. The tablet weighs in at roughly 1.5 pounds.

The Jetstream will be available online and in-store beginning September 4. It will cost $699.99 with a new, two-year contract from AT&T. In addition, for a limited time, a free HTC Scribe digital pen accessory will be available for no extra charge.
