Google+ Introduces Several New "Don't Forget About Us!" Features

It's Google's way of handing the crown to Facebook.

After harassing celebrities and treating its social networking site as an exclusive club for select individuals, Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) has decided to let everyone sign up for Google+.

This news comes at a time when consumers are walking away from the social networking site, primarily because they're too busy using Facebook (which happily copied Google+'s best features) to care about anything else.

Other new features include a search function in Google+, while screen sharing and Google Docs are being added to Hangouts.
