Best Buy Lowers Price of HTC Flyer by $200 to $299.99
Best Buy announced yesterday that it will be lowering the price of the HTC Flyer tablet to $299.99 from the original price of $499.99. The permanent price change is in effect today, October 1, 2011, and can be taken advantage of at BestBuy.com, all Best Buy stores around the U.S., and all Best Buy Mobile stores.
The most likely reason for the price drop is because of poor sales of the HTC Flyer. But, don't put all the blame on the price - HTC hasn't been advertising the Flyer very well, likely leading to poor sales.
The HTC Flyer features Android OS 2.3 (a.k.a. "Gingerbread"), the HTC Sense UI, a 7-inch display, 16 GB of onboard storage.
