iPhone 4S is "Officially" Jailbroken, Paving the Way For Unauthorized Fun

But it's not yet ready for release, reports say.

According to TechCrunch, iClarified is reporting that iPhone Dev-Team has created a “preliminary jailbreak” that works on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2.

“VERY preliminary 4S JB: twitpic.com/76vcp4 twitpic.com/76vct2 (Huge missing pieces prevent public release. LOTS of work left),” @MuscleNerd tweeted.

There's even a video of the iPad 2 jailbreak to prove the hacker's success:
