BlackBerry Took Another Hit, But You Shouldn't Worry
Should investors continue to worry every time BlackBerry experiences a decline? Analysts say the answer is "no."
"Sybase was not turned around in a quarter or a year," Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry told Benzinga.
"There are only two companies that have successfully turned around. One is Apple and the other is Sybase. Remember: it took almost seven years for Apple to turn around and turn skeptics into believers."
BlackBerry CEO John Chen famously turned around Sybase, which was struggling and appeared to be left for dead before Chen's involvement.

iPad Sales Could Reach 20 Million This Quarter
iPad sales might continue to decline in the coming months, but it could still enjoy a healthy December quarter.
"I can tell you 20 million is not second rate," Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry told Benzinga, referring to the rumored sales number.
"It's a huge number. Multiply that with an average selling price of $600. We're talking billions!"

Microsoft Still Interested In Virtual Reality
Sony Corp and Oculus VR may be the potential leaders in virtual reality development, but there could be another stalwart heading their way: Microsoft.
The Windows maker is expected to reveal this mysterious headset at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Analysts Doubt Amazon Will Split Up
Amazon is once again being placed under the break-up microscope, but analysts doubt it will happen.
"I don't think they'll do it as long as [Jeff] Bezos is at the helm," Patrick Moorhead, president and principal analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, told Benzinga. "And I also don't think it's good for them strategically to do that."

Apple Halted Online Sales In Russia
It's sure to be a temporary issue, but Apple has currently halted online sales in Russia due to the ruble's ongoing volatility. Will others follow suit?
"I do see other companies following suit because, as your currency is being deflated, they just can't afford [to sell the products]," Patrick Moorhead, president and principal analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, told Benzinga.
"They'd have to raise their prices just to break even on the deal."
