Energy Names Surge Forward (SLB, HAL, OXY)
While crude futures have dropped 1% off of the fresh 52-week highs set earlier this morning, energy companies Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB), Halliburton (NYSE: HAL), and Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY) continue to plow forward.
Schlumberger is trading up 1.73% to $94.85. Shares are inching their way toward their 52-week high of $95.64, set back on February 22nd.
Halliburton is currently positive 1.44% at $50.58. The stock put in a 52-week high earlier this morning of $50.74.
Occidental is also looking to test its 52-week high, set back on February 18th at 106.62. Shares are up 1.16% at $105.70.
