This Trader Is Going Short On Apple And Airlines, Long On This Energy Play

On CNBC’s “The Final Call,” Carter Worth recommended “shorting extreme strength” and named Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL), while suggested “shorting extreme weakness” and cited US Global Jets ETF (NYSE: JETS)

Tony Zhang said the downturn in the energy space represents an opportunity to go long on Baker Hughes Co (NASDAQ: BKR). He recommended “buying a call spread risk reversal.”

Mike Khouw said his firm had reduced “a lot of our long positions this week.” He added, “If you want to do the same thing, but with options,” it would be a put spread on SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE: SPY).
