Chipotle Attempting To Avoid First Close Under $400 Since July 2013
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) shares are trading lower by $10 at $401.10 in Tuesday's session. The embattled restaurant hasn't been able to stabilize in price amid the rash of illnesses that have ravaged its customer base over the last couple months.
Off the open, it rallied along with the broad market but found resistance just beyond Monday's high ($419.92), reaching $420.80 and reversing course.
The ensuing decline has breached the former low of the move ($406.35), falling under $400 before finding support at $399.14. It is attempting to avoid its first close under $400 since July 18, 2013, when it ended the session at $376.75.
