Exxon Mobil Sharply Higher

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE: XOM) shares are higher by $3.76 at $79.41 in Thursday's session. After a lower open, it continued lower before finding support just above Wednesday's close ($75.65), only reaching $75.80.

The ensuing rebound has taken the issue well into the $79 handle. If the rally continues, there may be resistance at the trio of highs just above the $80 level from late December.
