American Water Works Leaks After Making All-Time High
American Water Works Company Inc (NYSE: AWK) shares are trading lower by $1.57 at $63.97 in Thursday's session. The issue has rallied to new all-time highs driven by concerns over the Flint, Michigan, water crisis. On Wednesday, it posted its all-time intraday high ($66.46) and all-time closing high ($65.88).
After a higher open, it popped another $0.03 to $65.34, before reversing course. The ensuing decline has taken the issue to $63.92 and it is not far off that level. If the decline continues, there maybe additional support at its January 21 low of $63.61.
