Baxter Int'l Sees Higher Pump Sales vs. Leases

Baxter International, Inc. (NYSE: BAX) reported F4Q10 critical care revenues of $716M, up 21% y/y, compared to $593M over last year.

Baxter's Pump growth in 2Q10 was up 2% (compared to down 3% in 2Q09) and pump revenues were driven predominately by sales (vs. leases) which have a greater up front impact on sales, according to PiperJaffray.

PiperJaffray reiterates its "overweight" rating and $61 price target, and remain aggressive buyers at current BAX levels.

Baxter International, Inc. closed yesterday at $46.32.
