Turn-up the Volume on Skullcandy, Shares up 11.26%
Shares of Skullcandy (NASDAQ: SKUL) gain as much as 11.26% at $6.72 following Roth Capital's upgrade from Neutral to Buy and increase in price target from $5.50 to $7.50.
Roth Capital analyst Dave King noted that Skullcandy is "well-positioned" to benefit from the trend back towards on-ear headphone. The analyst added that new products including Crusher and Air Raid are also gaining traction. Roth Capital is optimistic on the new Chief Financial Officer, Jason Hodell, and the progress made by new Chief Executive Officer Hoby Darling since March.
Skullcandy closed at $6.04 on Friday and shares gained 5.1% in pre-market trading.
