79% Of Vetr Top Raters Love Amazon Stock

Shares of Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) have lost more than 20 percent since the start of 2016 but are still higher by more than 40 percent over the past year.

Amazon is 1 of the 4 stocks that make up the "FANG" trade and investors will be continue debating over the coming years if the technology group could continue outperforming the broader index. In the meantime, Vetr top raters turned incrementally bullish on Amazon and upgrading its stock rating to 4.5-stars.

Shares of Amazon have risen to $552.10 since the prior rating of 4.0-stars was issued just 2 days ago.

Amazon is popular among the Vetr crowd as more than 6 percent of users are holding the stock in their watch-list. In addition, 79 percent of the crowd's ratings are bullish and the crowd sourced price target of $635.04 implies an upside of nearly 20 percent.

Mirza Muhammad Raza, a member of the Vetr crowd, argued that Amazon's "huge" investments in various aspects of its business, particularly logistics and last mile delivery, will "now pay off."
