Bearish Sentiment Rises Again

Share:

The AAII Sentiment Survey was just released, and bearish sentiment rose again last week, as the markets are starting to see some of the "Sell in May and go away" mantra, based on a variety of reasons.

The survey show that Bearish sentiment rose 1.2% to 31.9%, and is at an 8 week high. It's been above average for 11 out of the past 12 weeks, so this is something to keep an eye on. Bullish sentiment fell 2.4% to 35.5%, and Neutral sentiment rose 1.2% to 32.7%.

The survey notes that bullish sentiment is at an 8-week low and has fallen 4 out of the past 5 weeks.
