This Asset Manager Thinks Google's 'Real Money' Is In Advertising

Share:

Todd Schoenberger was recently a guest on #PreMarket Prep, a daily trading idea radio show hosted by Joel Elconin and Dennis Dick..

J. Streicher Asset Management President Todd Schoenberger discussed Google Inc (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) on the show.

Schoenberger said he loved the company and noted that it dominated the search engine market with its “real money” coming from Internet advertising.

Google’s search dominance is what drives its profits as companies spend tens of thousands of dollars per month on Google Ad Words, which is a “cash cow” and where Google is making its profits, according to Schoenberger.

Google was able to use its cash flow to explore other technologies even though it may not make sense in relation to the company’s core business, Schoenberger observed, however, any short-term pullback could be “a great buying opportunity.”

Google recently traded at $555.30, down 1.46 percent.
