European Markets Slightly Higher

European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The U.K. FTSE gained 0.1%.

The German DAX rose 0.1%.

The French CAC added 0.3%.

The Spanish IBEX tacked on 1.1%.

The Portuguese PSI rose 0.4%.

The euro gained today after banks borrowed less-than-expected from the European Central Bank. The euro briefly hit 1.2304 before falling back to 1.2286. The euro is currently up 0.84%.
