European Markets Surge
European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:
The U.K. FTSE surged 2.9%.
The German DAX gained 2.15%.
The French CAC rose 2.7%.
The Spanish IBEX jumped 3.5%.
The Portuguese IBEX added 0.46%.
The euro is up nearly 1% against the greenback and is currently trading at 1.2639.
