European Markets Lower

European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The U.K. FTSE shed 0.6%.

The German DAX lost 1.0%.

The French CAC dropped 1.2%.

The Spanish IBEX slipped 0.9%.

The Portuguese PSI fell 0.6%.

The euro is down against the dollar by roughly 1% to 1.3092.
