European Markets Fall Again

European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The U.K. FTSE fell 0.9%.

The German DAX shed 0.6%.

The French CAC lost 1.2%.

The Spanish IBEX dropped 1.6%.

The Portuguese PSI tumbled 0.9%.

European shares were weak after Standard & Poor's cut Ireland's credit rating.
