SnapGuide Closes $2 Million Round
Yesterday, mobile startup SnapGuide closed a funding round totaling more than $2 million.
Index Ventures led the round, with participation from Atlas Ventures. Dave Morin, Gary Clayton and SV Angel and other angels also participated.
SnapGuide was founded by Daniel Raffel and Steve Krulewitz. Raffel is best known as one of the original creators of Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) Pipes. Krulewitz was on Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) Chrome team, working on Sync. They began working together on SnapGuide in February. Previously, they worked together on the music player Songbird.
Details about the company were few. Its landing page says the company is about "show and tell made mobile." But Raffel did confirm that it will include significant voice recognition capabilities.
