Take-Two Interactive Software Inc's (NASDAQ: TTWO) anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6" (GTA 6) has captured the attention of gamers and fans.

Here's a concise overview of what the gaming community knows so far, as reported by IGN.

There is no official release date for "GTA 6," but indications point to a potential launch between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, based on Take-Two Interactive's fiscal year.

The game is expected to be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version likely but unconfirmed. Other platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One have not been confirmed.

Rockstar Games, the publisher behind the game, officially confirmed the development of GTA 6 in February 2022, emphasizing their commitment to pushing the series further.

"GTA 6" is rumored to return to Vice City, a fictional version of Miami, and may expand with new missions and cities over time.

The game's story is said to feature two protagonists named Lucia and Jason, with Lucia potentially becoming the first female playable character in the series. Rockstar is also focusing on more considerate satire.

In September 2022, a leak showcased gameplay elements, including male and female protagonists and advanced NPC driver technology.

Rockstar North, the studio behind the mainline GTA titles, is developing "GTA 6." They've partnered with Cfx.re, known for their "GTA 5" roleplay server mods.

Is GTA 6 Set To Shatter Records With A $150 Price Tag?

Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is rumored to have a $150 price tag, stemming from a leaked budget estimated to be between $1 billion and $2 billion, according to Sportskeeda.

The leaked budget figure has raised eyebrows within the gaming community, as it surpasses the budgets of most other video games.

Some gamers contemplate whether such a budget could lead to a $150 price point, while others highlight Rockstar Games' history of charging $50 for 13-year-old "Red Dead Redemption."
