Neil Barofsky Stepping Down

According to a tweet from Special Inspector General of the Trouble Asset Relief Program, Neil M. Barofsky is resigning from his position.

Barofsky was confirmed by the Senate on December 8, 2008, and was sworn into office on December 15, 2008. As SigTARP, Barofsky oversaw the investments made into the troubled firms that received the funds from TARP.
