Teleflex Inc (TFX) CFO Kevin Gordon Resigns, But The Company Is Still Bullish

Share:

Teleflex Inc (NYSE: TFX), maker of engineered products for medical, commercial and aerospace markets has hired Richard Meier as the chief financial officer. He will replace the earlier CFO Kevin Gordon.

Meier was previously president and chief operating officer of Advanced Medical Optics Inc., a publicly traded $1.2 billion global ophthalmic medical device company. However, apart from this bit of grim news, the company was in an uplifting mood, as it has projected better than expected 2010 results. As per the company, this rise should be attributed to its medical segment. In addition to the above, the company expects its earnings from continuing operations in the range of $4.10 to $4.25 a share.
