BONE ShibaSwap Bucks Trend, Spikes 6% Even As Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Pepe Coin Tumble

BONE ShibaSwap (CRYPTO: BONE), a cryptocurrency associated with the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has managed to rise by 6% over the past 24 hours, defying the downward trend seen in other popular meme coins such as Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB), Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE), and Pepe Coin (CRYPTO: PEPE).

What Happened: This development comes on the heels of an eventful day at the Blockchain Futurist Conference, where Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, delivered a brief but impactful speech.

While the long-awaited launch of Shibarium, a layer 2 scaling solution, is yet to be announced, Kusama’s speech on Tuesday emphasized the strength and unity of the Shiba Inu community, referring to them as the “Shiba Army.” 

At the time of writing, BONE was trading at $1.58. In contrast, SHIB, DOGE, and PEPE have experienced declines of 4.82%, 2.46%, and 5.02% respectively over the same 24-hour period.

Why It Matters: Of particular interest during Kusama’s speech were the revelation of two significant documents: the “Shiba Paper” and “The 44 Tenets to Triumph in Crypto.” The former is expected to offer an in-depth exploration of the guiding principles and objectives behind Shiba Inu, potentially shedding light on its overarching vision.

Despite the discussions that took place, the absence of a formal announcement regarding the launch of Shibarium left a sense of anticipation hanging in the air. However, Kusama swiftly dispelled any disappointment with cryptic remarks on Telegram, teasing, “Why would I release [Shibarium] on a 5 min talk when we have a 16 keynote tomorrow.”
