U.S. Dollar Index Little Higher
The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.98, up 0.37. The dollar index is trading a little firm near the highs of the session Tuesday morning.
Market chatter about possible comments from the U.S. Federal Reserve statement on Wednesday has kept both buyers and sellers active. The Case-Shiller 20-city Index for May is scheduled for release at 9:00 a.m. ET. Markit will release its July Flash PMI Services and a composite PMI at 9:45 a.m. ET. Consumer Confidence is due out at 10:00 a.m. ET.
