Cattle futures are trading a little higher Thursday morning. October Cattle is trading at 148.70, up 0.57 and December Cattle is trading at 150.10, up 0.32. Trading is expected to remain very choppy with possible wide ranges.

Market chatter about steady cash prices has kept both buyers and sellers active.
