Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus 101,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 113.02, down 1.00 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 103.90, down 0.82 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 100.10, down 0.62 cents/lb.
