Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 116,000 head versus 104,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 115.57, up 0.62 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.70, up 0.85 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 101.17, up 0.87 cents/lb.
