USDA Daily Cattle Slaughter; Live Cattle Futures Sharply Higher

Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 111,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 117.92, up 2.40 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 107.45, up 1.82 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 102.35, up 1.15 cents/lb.
