Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 101,000 head versus 100,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 115.97, down 0.17 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.70, down 0.02 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 102.20, up 0.25 cents/lb.
