Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus 105,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 115.57, down 0.40 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.25, down 0.50 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 102.00, down 0.27 cents/lb.
