Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 112,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 115.92, up 0.57 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 106.17, up 0.55 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 101.97, up 0.50 cents/lb.
