U.S. Dollar Index Little Lower, Retail Sales Steady

The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 101.43, down 0.14.

The Census Bureau reported that year over year retail sales during February rose 5.7 percent versus a rise of 6 percent in January. On the month retail sales rose 0.1 percent during February versus a rise of 0.6 percent in January. Retail sales ex-autos rose 0.2 percent in February after a 1.1 percent rise in January.
