It was quite a seven-hour grilling for the BP (NYSE: BP) Chief Executive Tony Hayward as he faced Congressional inquisitors over the worst environmental disaster in the history of the country.

The company has employed the most expensive legal team to defend itself against the government. According to Barron’s, the attitude of Hayward was more or less the same throughout the process, maintaining that he has no clue or is not an expert qualified to provide the reason for the rig failure.
