According to CNBC’s Jim Goldman, the Apple tablet is the most hyped Apple product after the introduction of the iPhone, but the tablet has a more difficult path to chart.

According to the market buzz, the tablet is likely to be an addition to existing products such as the Mac or the iPhone. It is also expected to double up as a handheld gaming console. It is likely to feature a 10.1 inch LED or OLED screen and a flash memory. On the chip front, it will either have an Apple-owned PA Semi or a Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) Snapdragon platform.
