Laszlo Birinyi Is A Buyer Of Microsoft And Berkshire Hathaway

Speaking on CNBC's Fast Money, Laszlo Birinyi of Birinyi Associates said that he would buy Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) in the current market environment because it won't hurt him.

He wants to be defensive until he gets a clearer picture what is going on with the market. He thinks that the stock has upside potential, but perhaps not until a week or two.

Birinyi also likes Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK-B), because it is a quick way to get in the market and get exposure to a lot of different sectors. He would own it regardless the market environment.
