Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ: ADBE) announced in March a new partnership with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) to create a shared data format between Adobe's Marketing Software platform (re-named Experience Cloud) with Microsoft's sales software, Dynamics.

The potential for business transformation from the partnership is vast, Adobe Chairman, President and CEO Shantanu Narayen told Jim Cramer. The partnership stems from a desire of both companies to automate both sales and marketing with artificial intelligence.

"The volume of data that we are tracking and enabling people to understand and infer things from -- that will help a creator be a better creator," Narayen said. "That will help a marketer be a better marketer."

Narayen said Adobe's Experience Cloud platform helps brands manage customer interactions and advertising by processing a whopping 100 trillion transactions per year.

The data gathered from transactions can also be put into Adobe Sensei, which can automate processes like transforming paper documents into digital files that can be edited or change expressions in photographs.

"People want to create and businesses want to transform, and we are mission-critical to both of them," Narayen added.

Finally, the executive touched on the company's impressive earnings report on Tuesday as it's addressing two fundamental tailwinds: individual creativity and an always changing business landscape.
