Dollar Thrifty Shares Rise After Hertz Deal

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (NYSE: DTG) has accepted a hefty takeover bid from Hertz Global Holdings (NYSE: HTZ) for $50 per share. The deal is totaled to be worth $1.43 billion. This is higher than the $1.3 billion cash-and-stock offer from Avis Budget Group (NYSE: CAR)

DTG is trading about 5% higher today around $50.52

HTZ is trading about 7% higher today around $10.77

CAR is trading about 6% higher today around $$10.90
