Nike Unveils New Nike+ GPS App (NKE, AAPL)

Building upon its growing array of digital training tools for athletes, Nike (NYSE: NKE) today announced the availability of its new Nike+ GPS App on the App Store. The app is engineered to operate seamlessly between GPS and an accelerometer for an accurate, motivating and entertaining runner’s tool.

The new Nike+ GPS App allows runners to use their Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone to visually map every run while tracking pace, distance, time and calories-burned as well as stay motivated with instant feedback during and after each run from athletes like Paula Radcliffe and Lance Armstrong, and comedian Tracy Morgan.
