Trish Regan Quits CNBC

Share:

First Bill Griffeth returned. Now Trish Regan has departed.

TVNewser reports that Regan, who co-hosted the 11:00 a.m. show “The Call,” has left CNBC upon learning that she was going to be pulled from the show. CNBC had planned to ask her to stay on as a reporter, but she decided to move on.

TVNewser quotes a source who said that her desk is “cleared out.” Meanwhile, a spokesperson for CNBC, Brian Steel, says that Regan is “under contract.”

UPDATE: A previous version of this post incorrectly implied that the spokesperson said that Regan would need a separation agreement before she could move to another network. In actuality, Steel only said that she was under contract.
