S&P To Add Accenture To S&P 500 Index On July 5

Goldman Sachs has published a research report on Accenture PLC (NYSE: ACN) resulting from an S&P announcement after market close on Monday, June 27.

In the report, Goldman writes, "After the close on June 27, Standard & Poor's (S&P) announced that shares of Accenture plc (ACN, Buy) will be added to the S&P 500 index afterthe close of trading on July 5, replacing the shares of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. (MI, Not Covered)."

Accenture closed yesterday at $57.79.
