Fiat Chrysler Debuts On The New York Stock Exchange
Shares of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE: FCAU) began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Monday.
Fiat Chrysler is the world’s seventh-largest automaker, with plans to increase revenues to $6.3 billion in 2018.
Overview of the early trading action:
Fiat Chrysler shares opened for trade at $9 per share and quickly rose to a high of $9.55.
Shares then sold off back to the opening price, consolidated for a moment, then briefly spiked to a lower high of $9.32.
Selling pressure continued as the stock quickly fell back down to the $9 opening price and fell through this level, reaching a low of $8.83.
Share price has rebounded slightly, recently trading at $8.95.
