In a blog post on Sunday, the three experts commented on Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc (NYSE: LL) chairman Tom Sullivan's appearance on "60 Minutes," noting that the founder of the company was "likely aware" that his company was selling flooring that was non-compliant with regulations, and that he appeared to be withholding information.

"We have drawn that conclusion on the basis of the high volume and the specific types of deceptive behaviors exhibited by Sullivan during the course of the interview," the authors wrote in the blog post.

Specifically, Sullivan demonstrated "aggressive behavior" in which he directed multiple attacks during the "60 Minutes" segment at other parties. This may be a sign that he concluded the facts were closing in on him, compelling him to lash out in response.

Sullivan also showed "persuasive behavior" by making several "convincing statements" aimed at casting the company in a favorable light, as opposed to providing specific information sought by Anderson Cooper, the host of the "60 Minutes" segment.

Finally, Sullivan utilized "evasive behavior" by failing to answer specific questions as to whether he had ever been informed that the company was selling non-compliant laminate flooring.
