Android Lovers, Rejoice: Windows May Be Coming To Your Chromebook

Android (Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL)) users may soon see Windows (Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT)) on their Chromebook, as CodeWeavers is testing a Android version of its product CrossOver, according to a report on Android Police. In other words, it may soon be possible to run Windows software on Android and Chromebooks.

CrossOver, which is based on the open source Wine project, is already available as a licensed product on Mac and Linux systems, allowing users to run Windows applications without virtual machines or dual boot.
