Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOGL)'s Google launched the in-house developed Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones on Tuesday. This is in contrast to the previous efforts of co-branding the smartphones like Nexus.
The company indicated it aligned with Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE: VZ) exclusively to bring its Pixel smartphone to the market. The smartphone is available for pre-orders in the United States, Canada, Germany and several other countries.
