How Much Is A Mac From 1984 Worth Today?

Over 30 years ago, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) released a Super Bowl commercial introducing a product that revolutionized the world: the Macintosh Computer. The commercial was named the greatest commercial of all time by TV Guide.

Tuesday marks the 33th anniversary of the Macintosh computer and Apple has remained more relevant than ever after releasing several game-changing products over the years.

Despite fears that Apple's days as an innovator are over, the original Macintosh remains a collector’s item, amid the millions of cult followers that the company possesses to this day. The 1984 Macintosh is available for purchase on ebay Inc (NASDAQ: EBAY), with sellers promoting the product as a once-in-a-lifetime find. Recent eBay listings show the original Macintosh selling for as much as $2,750.

In 2014, CultofMac said original Mac computers sell at auction at a price of "$750 to 1,000."
