Dogecoin Co-Creator Wishes To See Elon Musk And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez In Same Interview: Here's What Tesla CEO Said

Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) co-creator Billy Markus says he’d like to see an interview featuring Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

What Happened: Markus was reacting to a tweet by podcast host Lex Fridman who shared his new year's resolutions on Tuesday.

Fridman said he would like to interview Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Musk among other notable personalities.

“I still would like to see an interview with AOC and Elon together,” said Markus to Fridman.

Musk reacted to Markus’ suggestion by saying, “Oh man haha.”

Fridman said he’d make the interview happen and ‘it’ll be great.”

Why It Matters: Ocasio-Cortez and Musk have previously been at loggerheads on Twitter. In April Musk told the New York representative to “stop hitting” on him as he was “shy.” 

More recently, Musk asked Ocasio-Cortez to pay $8 for Twitter’s blue verified status after she laughed at a “billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that “free speech” is actually [an] $8/mo subscription plan.”

In November, Ocasio-Cortez  said her Twitter mentions had disappeared and said she had gotten under “certain little billionaire's skin.”
